Matt Biery is a singer/songwriter from Kenmore, Washington who founded Crow Commute with his trusted partner in music, bassist Mark Dibeh. Matt grew up in Alaska, making horrible noises on an alto saxophone until he wisened up and picked up an acoustic guitar in young adulthood. He is self taught, but cut his chops in singing and playing live at a local open mic. He remains an active member of this vibrant open mic community centered in the Kenmore area, both hosting and regularly playing. Matt draws inspiration for his songs from current events, historical events that inform on today, and the brilliant and beautiful reverberations of the Pacific Northwest. Most of his songs are flavored by a strong dose of the human condition.
